Mission Statement	The Coastal Watershed Council is a nonprofit organization committed to the preservation, protection and management of coastal watersheds through establishment of community-based watershed stewardship programs, education and community outreach. Serving as watershed advocates, the Council promotes the health of these ecosystems through stewardship, advocacy and proper management practices.
Volunteer Duties	Data entry/analysis, field work, watershed education and monitoring programs, volunteer outreach and administrative assistance. The agency has a new program called San Lorenzo River Alliance, which consists of eight smaller groups that are experts on their field: Water Supply, Flood Protection, Economic Development, Fish and Wild Life Habitat, Public Safety, Community Engagement, Water Quality, and Recreation Access.
